Hitting Space>Search>Create Camera Image Plane creates a plane that is not
facing the camera.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Select Camera,
Space> Create Camera Image > click
bug_create_image_plane.blend

Thanks for the report, but there is no such addon distributed with Blender, so we can’t accept it in our report.
