Short description of error
Far position of rendered objects from zero world coordinates causes black artefacts/holes on mash, regardless camera is close.

Location 0 - no errors: Location0.jpg

Location 1000 - slightly visible errors: Location1000.jpg

Location 10000: Location10000.jpg

Location 100000: Location100000.jpg

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Select "Cube" and increase Y location to 10000.

After digging into the code, it looks like this task is beyond me right now (how embarrassing), I've un claimed it, hopefully someone with much more experience with renderers of this complexity can pick it up soon!

This is just float precision - upwards of 5000+, precision degrades.

I thing that is it a bug, because this one of errors (black lines - no holes) occurs in my other scene on objects with location 500 blender units from zero.
I know about float precision limits, but why is limitation absolute from zero, why isn't relative from active camera view?
Please, reopen this bug.

This might be fixable with a more clever BVH traversal algorithm, but that is a bigger todo, and not something we consider a bug now.
