File saved in older version of Blender crashes in new version

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1- download the file http://urchn.org/misc/a2s02light_packed.blend
2- try to open in a new version of blender from master
2a - you do not need to load trusted OR load the UI or have any addons installed
3- if it is the same as here, you'll get the crash
