We have a warning in our windows download page :

If Blender reports an error on startup, please install the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package

Did you install it?

Maybe Blender's download itself (or its installation) was corrupted somehow… did you try a full re-install?

Also, please try to use the --factory-starup as parameter, and see whether it fixes the issue?

Hrrrm… One last thing to test, after I’m short of ideas: please place that software OGL dll next to your blender.exe, and see whether it fixes things?

It seems I cannot edit my report so i will add the other info here.
Drivers: 337.50
Blender 2.70 worked fine.
Attempted to build blender myself but I get errors and problems and the documentation doesn't say anything about them neither do any fourms.

I'm having the same problem. I was able to screen-cap the CMD error before it closed, took many tries since it closed in less than half a second. http://gyazo.com/b122fb1296a07243f1d55d7feaecdcda

Something wrong with Python?

I HAVE THE SOLUTION

It worked for me.

Download the newest python version.
Locate you python and you blender path.
3.Go to YOUBLENDERPATH/YOURBLENDERVERSION.

4.There should be a folder called python.

Make a copy of that folder.
Copy you WHOLE Python Folder(That you have downloaded/installed) into the YOUBLENDERPATH/YOURBLENDERVERSION folder.
Blender should work now.
