System Information
Operating system and graphics card
Win 7 64 sp1
Geforce GTX 770

In Blender 2.71
The imported camera from maya is "looking" backward, in the wrong direction

In Blender 2.71.3 ( 2.71-3d4f540-win64)
The camera import worked in some case, and in the atttached file, the camera is tilted

The camera animation is not still supported

You can download the original Maya file, 2 FBX 2013 and 2014 export fille with camera animation, and a third file without camera animation.

Thanks for the test files, it helps me validate something else! :)

Regarding your case, in current master camera is imported (tilt is in FBX file, cam object as following local rotation: ["P", ["Lcl Rotation", "Lcl Rotation", "", "A+", -11.141085485697243, -268.590340990998, -0.2314691982947098], "SSSSDDD", - [x],, given the fact that FBX cameras are aligned on X axis, it is definitively tilt for me…).

As for animation, currently you have to link actions to their respective objects by hand (using the action editor), doing so automatically is not trivial with such a complex format as FBX (added a note about it on the status page).

So no bug in the end, thanks for the report anyway. :)
