Short description of error
In BGE, moving an armature by script is not work on 2.71.
The same blend file work on 2.7.
I confirmed it on Windows and Mac.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
{F102400}Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

Have you tested with the newest build of 2.71, because a couple of weeks ago I downloaded Hash
80d3eb6, and with this version everything seems to work fine. (on Windows 7 64-bit).raco,
