Shrinkwrap constraint / wrong rotation of the constrained object in "project" mode

Short description of error
Wrong rotation center when using the shrinkwrap constraint and scaling the constrained object (in "project" mode)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • create a mesh as target
  • create an empty
  • add a shrinkwrap constraint for the empty targeting the mesh (mode "project")
  • scale the empty (4 in Z for example).
  • rotate the empty

> the empty rotate around the empty position without the shrinkwrap constraint applied.

Same behavior in local and world space but different behavior than other modes (nearest surface and nearest vertex).

Hmmm… There is nothing wrong with rotation in itself, issue seems to be that this constraint does not handle really well non-uniformed scaled objects… will dig a bit more.

Yeah what bugged me was the fact it didn't behave the same way depending on the mode (for consistency sake). And that it would be more convenient for the "project" mode to have the rotation being centered after the projection as it is for the other modes.
