System Information
Asus s93SV
Intel Core i7 4@2GHz
Nvidia GeForce 540M Cuda 1GB

Controler: Speedlink Torid Wireless in XInput Mode

Blender 2.72

Short description of error

When using a controller and using a kind of modified "MouseLook"-Script, the whole Blender UI get background-gray for a few frames. By moving the camera the UI get's normal and then it's get gray again.

How to reconstruct
Open the file Plan2xbox.blend and just press "P" (Standart). You need to have an XInput Compatible Controler conected. To look around use the right stick.

Please provide exact steps and a .blend file demonstrating the bug, as mentioned on the bug submission page.

It is also not clear to me what the embedded player is, is that just running the game engine from inside Blender?

Hi,

I can not reproduce the bug. I tried it with a usb gamepad controller but the blender's UI remains normal (not greying out) as when you move as when you don't move the camera.
Additionally, the right stick to look around didn't work.

System: Windows 7
Gamepad: Rainbow 7310
Blender 2.72b

I have just checked in linux (opensuse 13.1 64 bit) and the behaviour is similar as I point out before (not grey out and right stick didn't work). The right stick issue it seems an index out of order problem in the script.

The stick-indexing is made for a xbox-driver-controller, maybe there's a driver or option for your gamepad...
i'll try by reinstalling blender

Hi,

I tested again under linux and Windows 7 (both 64 bits) using blender 2.74 RC3 and a Xbox controller, and I can't reproduce the bug.

Could you check new blender 2.74 RC3?
