Correct aspect does not work after UV unwrap.

Short description of error

Map size is 2048*1024.
Unwrap almost does not change after unchecking "Correct aspect" in the unwrapping options.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open attached file, unwrap mesh, press F6 above 3d window, uncheck "Correct aspect".

I forgot to say, that after appending object into the new file, problem dasappears.

Stuff things to work here, but i'm not totally expert of aspect correction for UVs.

@Campbell Barton (campbellbarton), mind having a glance?

Whats happening here is the image isn't connected to the mesh (as far as Blender is concerned)

The image happens to be showing, but you dont have any cycles image textures selected.

You need to add a material and make that material use the image.

... or switch to "Blender Internal" renderer.
