System Information
OSX

Blender Version
2.73a

Short description of error
When loading factory defaults, Render Dimensions preset dropdown menu is not reset

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Change Scene Dimensions to a preset
  • Maybe change a couple of settings like x resolution to see changes later on
  • Reset to factory default
  • Observe change of X, Y Scale etc of Scene Dimensions Resolution to default
  • Observe Preset dropdown choice still on previous setting before factory default..

Just a little teenie weenie thingie.. I know, but thanks for looking into it!
Cheers and thanks again for developing worlds' greatest application!

Yeah, think it's known issue actually… let's see what Campbell says.

Currently the menu labels are just set to the last value. (we could also just remove the labels).

Ideally we would have some way to know what values the preset sets then clear the menu when any of those are changed. But this gets complicated with RNA.

Moved to TODO.

I have this same problem with blender 2.79 test build. It is also present with a 2.78 daily build. Moving the window or panel on the right will make it appear, and then moving the mouse cursor over to the top will make that part appear.
