GLSL: linking a light from an external file does not update the render

Short description of error
in GLSL rendering miode, when you link a light from an external .blend, the shaders should be updated (so that the scene is lit from it). This does not happen.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. open t2.blend
  2. link the Sun from t1.blend

The sphere stays black. Save, reload and compare --> sphere is lit. When this is fixed, maybe the following still doesn't work:

  1. instance the Sun in t2.blend as a dupligroup (link Groups-->light)
