Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Blender Version
Broken: 2.72, 2.73 and prior ??
Worked: 2.63 ( see http://youtu.be/QRWAXsbFAWY?t=10m39s )
Short description of error
using shortcut CTR+ALR+Q to maximize the viewport which lies under the mouse cursor does not work anymore, it always maximizes to user perspective
thanx for fixing it, it is a great time saver
with friendly regards

works here in 2.73.5 on Ubuntu, but the key config i use has been copied from older versions.
have a look at your key configuration of 'toggle quad view' or maybe 'screen.region_quadview', in case it is not mapped as intended.
in case there is no mapping at all you can simply create one using 'Add New' and then just fill in 'screen.region_quadview' in the identifier of operator field and your preferred key mapping.

This is actually an intended change, made in
d71db08f6d
. The reason for this is that you can easily loose your previous set user view with the old behaviour. As you can see in the commit, we are trying to find a solution that fits all needs and gives ways to have both options accessible (toggeling into side views using mouse hover and keeping the user view)Added subscriber: @lrose11123
@JulianEisel - anyway looking forward to find a reasonable solution for this
@NikoLeopold - the settings seems to be same same
so different behavior on Ubuntu and Win7 ?
Cheers, Jozef
