Hair Clumps Point to Scene Center When Density is Texture-Controlled

Short description of error
When a hair system's density is controlled by a texture, any clumped hair will be stretched out and point towards the center of the scene. If clump is at 0.5 for example, it'll stretch half the way, and if clump is at 1.0 it'll stretch all the way.

Confirmable, also using 2.73.

And of course the next one that needs @Lukas Toenne (lukastoenne)'s attention :P Lukas, is this intended/expected?

I can confirm this bug as well for a project I'm working on. Oh man I hope this one can be fixed soon! :)

I'm not sure the patch helped. As of RC3 the issue is still present.

@Chad Gleason (fahr), the patch was only submitted, not committed, so it's not in master yet.

I just loaded a hair scene of mine using 2.74 offical release and this bug is back!! Did the patch get removed from master? Is there a build where I can get it back? I'm desperate at this point. I'm on a deadline and this was fixed a few weeks ago. :P

@Chad Gleason (fahr), the patch wasn't included in official 2.74 release (committed only 6 days before release...), but it is in the newest build from buildbot (https://builder.blender.org/download/) and everything should work fine there :)

Just a note to say that this bug is still there in the version 2.78a. It acts a little differently throught. Sometime, I have the hair particle stretched like before,but, sometime, I just get a furball in the center of my scene... Is there a correctife I could find somewhere?
