Broken: Blender 2.74
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
blender crash and closed when i render hair
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

i enable some addons and than create hair
when i tried render it blender crashed and closed
i find that this addon made the problem when i enable it : System -- Manage UI translations
when i disable it hair rendering and blender worked fine

@Blendify, since the report says it works fine with the add-on disabled it's likely a bug in the add-on

@seghierk Your report is incomplete, we need a .blend file to (try to) reproduce the issue…

@JulianEisel Do not see how an addon could affect rendering… should not be possible at least. So think bf-blender is valid here.

@JulianEisel & @Blendify most important thing about a report is not its tagging, but whether it is reproducible or not, suggest you check that first of all.

Video files are usually not much useful for us, we need to be able to reproduce the issue ourselves.

And please do not mix issues in a single report, other issue => new report.

sorry you can not reproduce the issue if i send you a file
but you to try to find what happened not only apply hair system and activate the addon
try to create scene with addon already activated than enable hair dynamic
try to render the scene ; if it rendered without problem disable the plugin than enable it and try render again
i am sure that the problem is with this addon but how i don't know and i can't give you precise steps because :
1- sometimes it work when the addon already enabled
2- if addon disabled and i enable it after adding hair system blender closed
3- sometimes blender closed when addon enabled only if i activate hair dynamics
so you must try if you don't want see the video

for the second issue right now i don't know why it happend but i will upload the scene in new report

I still cannot reproduce it even trying all kind of disable/enable of the addon… So once and for all, please attach here a file which crashes for you!

If we are not able to reproduce the issue, we cannot fix it, and we'll have to close that report…

Still cannot reproduce here, never crashes for me… Might be specific to windows, or some other strange condition.

Set to 'Unconfirmed', if no one is able to reproduce within two weeks we’ll have to archive it.

are you see the video ?
i know that you can't find anything when i send you a scene
and you can't confirm with your try only
what happened is a big problem if you work long time than blender closed without reason
i had also problem of blue screen when i tried render hair animation with cycles.
so please don't close this report without find solution

Are you rendering on gpu or cpu. Or does it happen on both

It is written that preferences of addon is lost when I invalidate addon.
I watched a movie, but seemed to use it without setting preferences after you invalidated it to me.
When you set addon effectively, a setting item of preferences is displayed below, but do you set it?
I'm sorry, I do not try it to use addon definitely because preparations are troublesome.
