OGL driver bug again… Please:

  • Try the latest build from our buildbot.
  • Try to start Blender in factory settings (--factory-startup commandline option) (this will ensure whether this is a userpref or addon issue or not).
  • Try to tweak OGL settings in UserPreferences, System tab.
  • Attach here the report generated by Help -> System Info.
  • Try to place this dll next to your blender.exe (software OGL, will be slow, but will show whether this is a driver issue or not).

Tried latest build...no change.
Tried running factory startup...no change.
Played with all OGL settings, saving in between with no change.
Placed dll. file in blender.exe folder...no change.
Attempting to attach system info .txt file...not sure if it has worked.

Looks like we are still missing the requested system info…

Thanks for the file, everything looks OK there I think Antony?

Martijn, do you have some more ideas of things to check here?

@WoodJeweler can you please check official 2.74 release to see whether issue happen there? and if so, also 2.73, 2.72, etc.?

Doesi t happen with just user preferences window or any windows?

To test this, split 3d viewport to a new window and try closing it.

System Info looks OK...might be OpenGL related (accessing a gl function from the destroyed window context comes of as a possible explanation) or totally window dependent.

Meeeh, we don't really know if it's OpenGL related, that's just a possible explanation. Since noone has been able to confirm for weeks I would just archive for now

Try removing wintab32.dll from your C:\Windows\System32\ folder (maybe keep a copy on your desktop to be safe).

I had a very similar problem:
https://developer.blender.org/T45422

I resolved my problem by doing this. Cheers!
