Cutting meta strip including keyframed speed effect produces right part with incorrect length of internal strips
Open, NormalPublic

System Information
Windows 8.1 64 bit

Blender Version
Broken: 2.75rc2 (c85a58a)
Worked: 2.74 I think was fine

When I cut a meta strip that includes a speed effect strip that has keyframes right part of the result of cut has all strips cut to width of left part (effectively leaving it with no visible output).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open blender.
  2. Select "Video editing" layout.
  3. Add -> Movie -> select any movie (I tested with mp4, h264 codec, with audio)
  4. Select video strip
  5. Add -> Effect -> Speed
  6. In "Effect Strip" setting uncheck "Stretch to input strip length" and add keyframe to "Speed factor"
  7. Select all strips
  8. Make meta strip
  9. Set active frame somewhere over this new meta strip.
  10. Strip -> Cut (soft) at frame

To make it more interesting if after creating meta strip and then doing unmeta strip and meta strip again it seems to work as I would expect it (just cuts it nicely).

@Krzysztof Trzciński (elmo), I remember some fixes being made in this area, so could you check with the latest build from buildbot?

Julian Eisel (Severin) triaged this task as Needs Information from User priority.

I just tried version built on 2015-06-28 00:13 with hash 3d616cc.
It behaves the same.

Code that was tweaked for that fix only influences stretched option on. Generally the speed strip behaves weirdly and unpredictably. Let's see what the matter is this time...

Currently I am back to 2.74 (000dfc0) as it seems to be working fine.
