Hi,
I'm using this script on windows to help me update Blender. I drop the zip file on the script file and get Blender updated automatically.
It's open the zip file and and make backup for the previous download and keep the shortcut Blender alive.
It's assume that the folder inside the zip file is the same as the name of the zip but sometimes ago it's no longer true so the script doesn't work anymore.
all I ask is if there a chance to make the folder in the zip file exactly the same as the name of the zip file.
Please!!

Not sure this is acceptable as bug report, but… Will let our win maintainer decide. :)

This is not a bug. The idea of helping users to update and or manage blender versions is interesting though. thanks for showing the script to us.
here is the script in case of future reference 1-Update.cmd
