Short description of error
Basically the image talks by ti self, in material mode the vieport shows unselected objects as black and selected full yellow or orange depending if it is the active object or not.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1-set the render engine to blender internal
2-set the viewport shadeing to material mode.

Yeah it happen to me also, I can't view my texture in texture shade mode or material shade mode or even in rendered mode for blender internal.

I'm on linux 64 and here's my graphics specification:
renderer: 'GeForce GT 635M/PCIe/SSE2'
version: '4.5.0 NVIDIA 355.06'

Blender 2.75a StableBlender Master Branch 2672ee7
