Ray intersection errors and slowdown
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

System Information
Win7 x64

Blender Version
Broken in Master as of Sept 2 2015
Working in 2.74

Short description of error
Objects appear to be overlapping during render when it was not previously an issue. Objects stay "overlapped" even when they are quite a distance away from one another. Not sure if this is universal or just caused by my choice of materials.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open .blend and viewport render

However -

The version 2.75 (sub 4), branch b'master', commit date b'2015-09-07' b'18:01', hash b'946b850', b'Release'
seems to render properly on the same machine.

The issue with wrong render result was already fixed. Performance regression i've committed tweak which solves it on CPU, GPU still needs some work but that's not considered a bug really.

So thanks for the report, but closing it now.
