primitives & grid snap on RC2 #46274

Win 8.1 / 64 bits
AMD A10-6700 APU
video : HD8670 D

RC2

Hash = b'e24ea81'

when I add a new primitive with snap grid mode on
it does not snap to the grid
there is an offset function of cursor probably

don't know if it is a bug or normal

but in grid snap mode I think new added primitives should be added snap on grid lines!

thanks
happy bl

This is expected behavior. Snapping is a transform option, and it's only being processed during transform (this doesn't apply to grid snapping only). After adding an object, you can enter its exact position in the operator properties panel (lower part of the toolshelf) just as normal.

Anyway, thanks for the report, but don't see a bug here.

for mechanical design
it would be interesting to be able to snap new primitive to grid
when in grid snap mode

may be adding a new option would be nice to do it

thanks
