Short description of error
when you try to check if there are some interior faces, from menu you select interior faces in face mode. but it does not show them. you only can do this by select non manifold in egde mode and then find the wrong ones.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
when you open file, there is black frame where interior faces are. change to face mode, then select interior faces from menu. nothing happens. change to egde mode and select non manifold, and there are 2 interior faces which were not selected earlier.

I'm sorry, I cannot find interior faces in the blend file which you showed.
Interior faces should mean such faces.


interior faces: All edges constituting face is shared by another faces more than two.

Hi, this isn't a bug - in that the current code works as intended.

However it would be good to be able to select interior regions (which is what you're looking for).

This could be done but is more involved.

I'd like to get this working, so assigning to myself as a TODO.

when I read tip which shows after I am pointing out on select interior faces :" select faces where all egdes have more than 2 face users" I understand it as in example below. Face in center of each of two cubes is interior( edges have more than 2 face user), so why this function works only in left one? Am I wrong?

There is no face here.


Therefore, this edge does not have faces sharing it more than two.
