Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Sorry about that, but I have (for now) probably not enough information to reproduce this bug
System Information
Ubuntu 14.04, gallium 0.4 on mvc8
Blender Version
2.76b / build of 20160215
Short description of error
Wrong selection in Edit Mode
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I tried with 3 selection mode (Automatic, OpenGL occlusion Queries, OpenGL Select)
Seems that works OK for vertex selection mode, KO for edge and face selection mode
Seems to be OK in face selection mode if object is set to shading Smooth, OK in flat mode
I have this problem on computer of classroom where I teach Blender. My next course is on March 7th. Don't hesitate if I have something to test, or if I need to test some debug builds, or something like that.

Thanks !

Eeeeh, ok, well, archiving for now then, no point in keeping this open until we get requested info (we'll reopen it then ;) ).

Hrmmm… GeForce 210 is rather low end hardware, but supports OpenGL 3 so should work. Suspect the issue is more with driver here, Nouveau (opensource NVidia driver project) is nice but we do not officially support it with Blender, not reliable enough.
What you may try is to run the
blender-softwaregl
script instead of blender itself next time, would ensure issue is with nouveau or not.Added subscriber: @ideasman42
Older nouveau driver had issues but newer one works well in my own tests. (GeForce GTS 450 with latest nouveau on arch-linux).
Either install nvidia's driver or use a more recent version of nouveau.
Realize this is a hassle, but don't think we can solve this on our side.

Hello Bastien, Campbell,
Thanks for your answers.
I will contact IT service of the school to ask them to upgrade driver version on computers of this classroom.
Seems we can archive this ticket :)
