FBX EXPORT: no keyframes are appearing in the exported fbx when objects stays put, even though i have manually inserted keyframes #47457

System Information
Windows 8, Quadro K2100M

Blender Version
Broken: 2.76b f33fea

I inserted keyframes with no movement but no keyframes are appearing in the exported fbx file

**Add a cube, do not move, rotate or scale, just insert keyframes one after the other in the timeline, say for the first 5 frames insert a keyframe without moving the cube.
Export as binary fbx. Import in back into Blender: you will see no keyframes on the imported fbx file.

No bug here, just disable Simplify (set it to 0.0) if you want pure static 'animations' too…

actually the Simplify doesn't work then. With 0.00 i get no keyframe what so ever :(

When AllActions & NLA Strips are disabled, this is assumed to be a 'global scene animation' export scenario, useless animation is always stripped in this case.

If you want that kind of action to be kept, you must enable All Actions and/or NLA Strips options.

PS: i tried with

  1. All Actions and NLA Strips activated
  2. just All Actions activated
  3. just NLA Strips activated

no keyframes what so ever :(

OK, with force start/end frame you get first/last keys, but indeed we should export all keys when simplify is disabled (note that you'll get one key per frame then, since we bake…).

yeah, i know about the force start/end frame option, it is not enough for me right now, but i need to have a keyframe on every frame, even the object is not visually moving, for my exported fbx file (when simplify is 0.00)

i just did copy all the code into my 2 files of the exporter, but still no keyframes whatsoever
