Incorrect name of new edit boolean function
Closed, InvalidPublic

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Nvidia GE Force 760

Blender 2.77 testbuild 2

The new boolean function is listed in the search list (spacebar) as "Intersect (boolean)".

This is incorrect. This function is not performing a boolean intersect function. It is performing a boolean difference function.

The term intersect is just intended to show the operation intersects mesh data.

  • Intersect (Knife): Only adds cuts/
  • Intersect (Boolean): Adds cuts and performs a boolean operation.

Internally they both share the same logic/limitations, One removes geometry based on boolean logic, another not.
