Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
When I sculpt with a pen tablet the brushes sometimes "stick" in a very unpredictable manner.
When I press the pen on the tablet I expect the brush to start working and that works well.
When I lift the pen I expect the brush to stop taking effect and that works well 80-90% of the time, but at random occasions it doesn't. I lift the pen and the brush is still active so I keep manipulating the active part of the mesh.
Any idea what could be causing this?

No news since one week…

Reposting this from Blender Artists. (I am the guy who originally asked about the "bug")

I was too hasty to blame it on blender (I only use my tablet with blender lately so that's my excuse).
Basically it's the stylus itself: the nib gets stuck if you push too hard and you get weird behavior.
Solution: get the nib out, try to clean the hole where it fits (basically blow into it or something), then gently insert the nib back.
Also it's possible that the nib is too old in which case you should replace it.

You can mark this as solved.
