The Rendertime for the same Scene-File is under Windows 10 (X64) twice than under Linux!. (Linux Mint, x64-V17.3)!
(Renderengine: Cycles-Render with CPU)
My CPU is Core-i7-2700K (4C-8T).
Is there a bug in the Windows-Version or how can it be that the Linux-Version is twice fast than the Windows-Version in Cycles-Rendering!
Both are. x64, V2.77, Date: (Splah-Screen): 2016-03-04 17:08

Probably the gcc compiler optimized the code better, we have observed that in the past already. Still, 2x slower is strange. Please upload an example file, which demonstrates the issue.

Thank You for your Answer. I Upload the Blender-File: "Raum" and you just press Render this Single Frame. (1920x1080, Samples are 800). On Windows 10 it takes ca. 6h and on Linux-Mint-V17.3 it take only ca. 3h to render the Frame. (i7-2700k, 32GB RAM, x64-System).Raum.blend

O.K. I try some other Renderings and the Linux-Version is 20% up to 100% faster than the Windows-Version. I would like to compare even the GPU computing , but these do not get to run under Linux. Thank you very much for this fantastic Software.
