Not enough precision in Volume Sampling Step Size input #48486

System Information
Win8.1x64, 3x gtx580

Blender Version
2.77a

Short description of error
Not exactly a bug but makes it quite limiting.
In Cycles render settings -> volume sampling -> step size displays values down to 0.01 which is way too coarse. It needs an order or two of precision more.

just type it in?

Strangely that works. However, try entering 0.012, 0.017, 0.01111 - it returns 0.01, 0.02 etc.

If you type in 0.012 it actually holds it but displays 0.01

If you type it in, hover over the box, press ctrl-c, then paste the value into a text editor / box somewhere, it will show the absolute value.

So it is usable and the actual value is retrievable. Not the end of the world then. Thanks.
Though is there a reason to rounding it this way? I mean it's a direct input value, not a generated one, thus any weird number gets entered exactly as intended.
