Hi, this is the task for Curve Tools 2 addon in addons contrib.
The focus of this is menu redesign, functionality fixes, new features.
Menu redesign:
Based off mesh extra tools in contrib.
Functionality fixes:
Curve loft: Broken for some time, fixed & improved functionality by batFINGER
New features:
curve fillet, trim/extend, curve outline, possible auto bevel & curve convert.
Current file with new menu & new curve loft:
curve_tools.zip
This addon will be updated incrementally.
