(ctrl+F1) cmd+F1 is not working in mac
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Timelapse toolbox addon installed but cmd F1 is not working. What is the alternative?

Timelapse addon is not official (aka not distributed with blender) so you'll have to contact Bassam outside of the official bug tracker.
hey it's a mac thing, the function keys are not always easily remappable. Once you've install the addon you can assign it a new hotkey in your input settings.
and yeah, not really a blender bug :)
