Creating proxy for Scene strip in VSE does nothing

I have a scene with multiple fisheye cameras, and I wanted to generate some proxies so I can edit the scene switching cameras in the VSE.
I tried generating the proxies the same way I usually do for video or image sequence material - however the scene strips have no proxies and all I can do is an OpenGL preview that doesn't show what the panoramic camera sees. and also is slow, because the scene is huge and contains hundreds of objects.

Thanks for the report, but no bug here. Proxies are expected to be (reasonably) fast to generate, unlike a whole scene rendering. You have to handle this yourself currently. Thanks for the suggestion, but we do not accept feature requests or suggestions on this tracker (use forums or bf-funboard ML for that).
