I was working on an animation project, and after I was done and saved it for the last time - I'm unable to open it up again for rendering, because when it it loads, it shows me the Blender GUI with everything in place, with 3D view showing my scene's objects, an then it crashes before I can do anything.
It crashes with every build of Blender 2.78, but it loads (and renders) fine in Blender 2.77.
I had random crashes during rendering before. I was rendering frames and every now and then Blender 2.78 crashed.
I thought that maybe the problem is related to the Animation Nodes add-on, but I installed that add-on in 2.77 and it doesn't crash sill.
I can deliver the .blend file on demand for debugging, but I can't publish it, as it's a work for a client.

After loading and saving a new version with Blender 2.77 I was able to load the file in Blender 2.78 again, but I it crashes almost every time I try to render an animation. When it doesn't crash immediately, it most often crashes after rendering the first frame.

Rendering from CLI with Blender 2.78 seems much more stable - I hadn't had a single crash yet, so I guess the problem is related to the Blender's GUI.
