@dfelinto Yes but I don't remember seeing it reported. I remember @mont29 taking care of this. So it maybe a depsgraph regression.

However this patch introduces an issue. We don't want to update a viewport if we are using a different engine there. This is illustrated in the following diagram (the rectangles represent different windows, and we have two different scenarios presented):
