64-bit, x64- based processor and graphics card intel(R) core (TM) i3 cpu 540 @ 3.07GHz

Blender Version
Broken: 2.79

Short description of error
i downloaded the blender 2.79 and extracted the file (blender-79-rc1 windows64),
and when i try to open blender.exe it showes me the eror "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00007b)..."

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
click on blender.exe to open the progrem

@LazyDodo, i remember similar issues happening when there was no redistributable .dll packed into archive. Are we packing all of them now? Or maybe you've got some other clues? :)

We are including all redistributables, this is most likely not a blender problem but a corrupted windows installation, to know for sure though

Check for corrupted files using the System File Checker
Check the windows event log for more details about the problem

I did the check for corrupted files and it didnt find anything... and i dont know if it really relevant but i tried to download popcorn time and after the downland it like nothing happend same thing when i tried to downloand blender v2.78c (64 bit) and after it finished nothing happend non file was downloaded and if i click the setup again it showes me this:

like it finished the download on the computer and all but not appers anywhere :/

this ticket is about rc1, why are you installing 2.78c?
