System Information
Operating system and graphics card
Windows 10, NVidia 970 GTX

Blender Version
Broken: (example: 2.69.7 4b206af, see splash screen)
Worked: (optional)
2.79

Short description of error

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

I made an obj of a building in AE (use element3d with metropolitan pack). I tried to import obj into blender 2.79 and got red screen in log window ... it said "ValueError: bpy_struct: item.attr = val: sequences of dimension 0 should contain 3 items, not 2".

I think it might be a bug because I reloaded blender 2.78 and it works fine

Cannot confirm this with current master, file load fine here (aside from missing materials, since you did not feature MTL files). Please:

  • Try the latest build from our buildbot.
  • Ensure you do not have a stalled version of the addon somewhere in your local user files.
