GPU Compute is an option, but it isn't. #53940

System Information
1.8 GHz CPU (Not the best, but Blender still runs so I'm not complaining)
AMD R7 m360 Graphics Card.
Windows 10 Operating system
8 GB of installed RAM.

Blender Version
2.79

In prior versions (Blender 2.77/2.78), "GPU Compute" rendering was an option. I would go into User Preferences, and then click "GLSL Compute" and GPU rendering would then be an option. Now I do the same, but above in "Cycles Compute Device" it says "None" and this cannot be changed;

So in the "Render" tab, when clicking on what device to use to render, both options for CPU and GPU Compute show up, but when clicking on GPU Compute, it's sort of "faded" out as if it's not an option, like so;

When rendering the final image, I notice a "clock" telling you how much time is left in the render, only characteristic of previous versions' CPU rendering;
Time.JPG

I have no idea what's going on here and I'm not even sure if it's a bug or something I'm not doing properly. If the latter, please direct me to the proper place to bring up this issue.
Here is the Blend file. Not sure how you'd resolve the problem with it, but if need be.

The R7 m360 is a gcn 1.0 card, as mentioned in the 2.79 release notes , support for anything below gcn 2.0 has been dropped.

Thanks for letting me know, and sorry for the invalid thread. I'm brand new to this site.
Back to 2.78 I go, it seems.
