Short description of error
Snap tool configurated in vertex mode and closest works in a first try but an a second try is snaping to a fixed point in the local space of the mesh selected not corresponding to any vertex(like a gost point)

I faced a similar problem in blender 2.8. But I could not replicate the problem.

@Raulus can you best describe the steps to reproduce this problem? (preferably with a blend file)

now i find something more interesting about the error, have to make a video . the object snaps ok from one side but if i rotate the object 180 the other side is not snapping the way it should be

This is not a bug. This is expected behavior. You can see what is happening if you turn on the BoundBox display:

But this will be changed in future releases ;)

YES! At last I've found the problem that I have :)
I just start to play with bledner and building building pieces, and after that I snap the pieces together and there is the biggest problem - they snap to their boundin box.
Is there some advice how to snap objects in object mode, or I must everything snap in edit mode? I tried make a origin in vertex which I like to snap to another but it works only at the side where it is.
