Provided .blend file contains the issue. But I did not manage to reproduce issue from scratch with 2.79b or master under ubuntu 16.04.

Can you confirm that problem was solved in 2.79b ?

Creating a file from scratch in 2.79b produces reported issue for me. (on Windows)

Render:

OpenGL Render:

Only affects the viewport not the render in my testing.

Problem appears in 2.79b

How to reproduce issue from scratch:

  1. Add text strip or image strip in VSE.
  2. Add transform on text strip
  3. Add scene strip
  4. Select transform strip and add Keyframe to scale.
  5. Do to different frame and try to change the scale value by sliding left-right. You will see issue, as i described before.
  6. When you change scale value, image temporary distorted, until you change something

Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) triaged this task as Confirmed, Medium priority.

Can confirm this, too. Maybe this is for @Joshua Leung (aligorith) ? (feel free to throw back at me and I can see what I can do...)

Richard Antalik (ISS) closed this task as Resolved.

Can not reproduce this in 2.8

behavior described by @Michael Soluyanov (crantisz) is normal as keyframe is already set.
