Hi @Rangarig Rex (RangarigRex) ,

this is probably to be expected ( Please correct me if I'm mistaken. ).

If you would e.g. set the Subsurf-Modifier Divisions to 10 your PC/Blender would probably crash as well. This is just the nature of quadratic/ cubic calculations. It is the users responsibility to use sensible values for her_his hardware.
Is there any reason to set the Precision this high?

@Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) I guess the tool-tip could be changed to communicate more clearly that the Precision of the Mesh-Deform-Modifier doubles/triples(?) with each Precision-Step. The Precision-Step in general is somewhat of a wage value as it is not clear to the user in what unit-system it operates. What are your thoughts on this?

for now I will close this bug as invalid, but if I should be mistaken feel free to reopen it.
