Short description of error
The blender does not render plane with cloth physics.
Problem exists if subsurf for render and view are not equal on mesh with cloth physics.
Cloth compute dynamics only for view settings and tries to apply them on render.
In case it is not possible to apply them, user does not have any info and problem occurs:
- No mesh if render is lower than view value (eg view: 6, render: 2)
- Mesh is transformed in improper way if render is greater than view value (eg view 1, render 2)
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- Create cube with collision physics and default material.
- Create plane above the cube with subsurf (view: 6, render: 2), cloth physics and default material.
- Bake all dynamics
- Render animation
I expect at least a message on error bar and rendering animation should be stopped.
Otherwise I will lose a lot of rendering time to figure such easy mistake.
