Blender Versions

blender-2.80-77e1942e0e1-win64

Short description of error:

Blender 2.8 has a future, but it has a bit strange things, if you select several objects and move (GRAB) them along the x axis and then you want to finish them with numerical parameters, you do not move all those objects anymore, with the numerical parameters, you only move the last object selected. This is strange, you should keep moving all the selected objects initially.

Cannot confirm that here.

Please follow our submission template and guidelines, also read these tips about bug reports, and make a complete, valid bug report, with required info, precise description of the issue (only ONE issue per report!), precise steps to reproduce it, small and simple .blend and/or other files to do so if needed, etc.

I'll write it easy with an example ... You create three cubes, you select the three, you move the three cubes with GRAB by the x axis, you see how the numerical distance in the x parameter advances, you go to the numerical parameter to change it and keep moving the four cubes and only the last selected object moves, THE 3 CUBES MUST BE MOVED NOT ONE ONLY, THAT IS THE BUG. (((((THE SELECTION MULTIPLE IS LOST WITH NUMERICAL PARAMETERS !)))

You should move several selected objects with numerical parameters, it is basic. If it's not a bug like a truck .

Blender does not work this way currently, but it's by design. The properties editor only edits the active object, not all selected objects. There are some plans to support this, but at the moment this is a missing feature and not a bug.

Brecht Van Lommel, If we compare it with the rest of the 3D software it is ((((((UNIQUE))))) in this, the rest has already solved that bug.
