Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) claimed this task.

You can delete measurements by clicking on the line endpoints.

Certainly the UI for the measurement tool could be improved, but this is a result of the tool system still being under development, not a bug at this moment.

Sorry i have failed to mention that i used the "N" menu to delete the measurement annotation and then it failed to delete. That is my bug report

Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to Normal.

Ok, that is strange. It's not clear to me why this is tied into the annotation system at all.

I have been testing and the Ruler works without any relationship with Annotations (I commented the lines in the code for testing), so I agree with @Brecht Van Lommel (brecht), why ruler is using annotations? Maybe, I'm missing something.

According with Blender manual, there isn't any relationship with annotations (conversions or something like that), so I think this is obsolete code we missed to clean with the new implementation.

If the ruler does not need annotations, I can prepare a patch cleaning all this code.

Thoughts?
