Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps
turn it on gives me a error:

Thanks for the report, but most add-ons still need to be updated for changes in 2.8, nothing new here, and certainly not a bug.

As the error message says, this addon has not been upgraded to 2.8 yet so it does not work. Porting the addons is a work in progress.
