Hi all

I used to have the same problem. I've been downloading three builts over the past few days.

I deleted my app data folder, and ran Blender again, and it loaded successfully. It has nothing to do with the build itself. Something went wrong with the saved settings.

C:\Users\Gerald\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.80

Where my name is (Gerald) is your windows username. The rest of the path should be the same for you. Just delete the 2.80 folder. When you run Blender 2.80, then it will load the settings from your 2.7x version. I think loosing the saved settings is a minor loss, comparing to the awesomeness of this 2.80 build. That's why Blender warns us against using 2.80 alpha in serious projects, until the official stable version is released.
