Short description of error:
There are a few inconsistencies with the 3D cursor I'd love to be changed.
- The 3D cursor will act if as orientation = view if you move it while having another tool is active in the 3D viewport (with the except of the select tool) even while settings for the 3D cursor are different. I'd love to see this changed so that the 3D cursor respects 3D cursor settings even while the tool isn't active. (Note: Right click select must be the enabled for this to occur)
- Object mode and edit mode can have different settings for the 3D cursor. I would love to see this changed so that a setting picked in one mode stays across all modes. However, arguments can be made to keep it the way it is now.
- Weight paint mode has the 3D cursor in the tool bar while it's invisible in the viewport. This is just a bug.
