Short description of error
closes while sculpting in appended mesh with multiresolution modifier

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
step 1:append an object from another blend file with multi resolution modifer on the object
step 2:go to the sculpting mode
step 3:with any brush selected draw on the mesh

this is a known problem, multi resolution isnt work right now

Cannot reproduce here actually (as of rB5c8f1053b5f0f65168497fe5989cbc1b5cbba1ea).

  • @marpuri ganesh (marpuriganesh) : is this still an issue in the latest buildbot build?
  • if so, please share both files [the one the object is appended from and the one where it was appended to...]
