Short description of error
When playing back smoke interactively in the viewport, enabling Adaptive Domain in the Smoke Domain settings causes the simulation to jump around erratically.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open Blender with factory defaults. Delete the cube.
Create a plane (SHIFT-A->Mesh->Plane)
With the plane selected, go to the upper left of the viewport, select the Object menu and choose Quick Effects -> Quick Smoke.
You can also setup a simple smoke sim yourself, but Quick Smoke is, heh, quicker.
Hit play on the timeline and watch your smoke sim playback.
With the domain selected, go to the Physics tab and enable Adaptive Domain.
Rewind and playback the smoke. It should now jitter and slowly fall to where it should be in global space.
