Short description of error

I tried to import a file with an FBX file extension but for some reason it says ASCII FBX not supported. I have no idea why that is.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Go to File > Import > FBX
Select included fbx file.
View error message.

We do not handle user support on this tracker, only bug reports. User forums like blenderartists.org or blender.stackexchange.com should be used for that matter.

ASCII fbx is not supported, only binary ones.
