System Information
Operating system: Arch btw
Graphics card: gtx 1060

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.8 2018-12-09 20:51

Short description of error
The camera view starts flickering when pausing playback at some specific frames (I don't know what these frames have that the others don't but it always shows up)
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Load up the blend file attached, go into eevee rendered view and camera view and then enable volumetrics. All frames near the end have some weird flickering that goes away when you disable volumetrics.

There is no file attached. You need to refer to the attached file with the auto inserted text that appeared when you "attached" it, for it to show up.

bitchlasagnaintro.zip Sorry my bad, I thought it works like email. By the way what platform is developer.blender.org running on?

ok thanks.

ok thanks.

I can not reproduce the issue sadly. The scene doesn't seem to have any volumetrics like smoke etc either.
I tried to go though the whole animation but didn't notice any flickering in the viewport.

You could try with a later blender beta from https://builder.blender.org/download/

If you still have the issue, I would like you to try to produce a minimal blend file with as little going on as possible where you can reproduce the issue.

Unfortunately it flickers too fast in order for the screen recorder to pick it up but you can see that sometimes the overlays and bloom disappear. It actually does that like 40 times a second and only on the later frames. I update my 2.8 builds daily and it has not been fixed.

I can confirm that I get this issue. However, I have to check "motion blur" too. Just turning on volumetrics doesn't do it. It's like the render is quickly switching back and forth between two frames.

@ZedDB @paperbenni I cannot reproduce with latest master. Can one of you confirm that it has been fixed?
