Event Timeline

Maybe this helps:
I had a similar issue a few weeks ago, and somebody on blenderexchange gave me the hint: You need to Bake the physics before starting the render. Otherwise it will not show in render.
Have you baked the physics?

With baked physics it works.
So now you are supposed to bake physics before rendering it. In previous versions, it was not mandatory to bake physics for animation render.
