There is no UV Edit option in UV Editing workspace.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Go to UV Editing workspace
  • Find out that there is no UV Edit mode (only View, Paint and Mask)

The UV Editor is now its own editor in the editors menu, not a mode of the image editor.

@Cmb (Ine) If you go to File->Load Factory Defaults, the UV workspace should be set to the UV Editor.

This is still broken.
UV workspace has the image editor not the UV editor and to make matters worse they look the same. I had no idea why the UV editor was not working at first.

Fight the burn out! You guys are almost there!

It's correct in the default startup file, probably you have saved your own startup file which still has the old workspace.

Removing old 2.8 config fixed problem.
